Pricing FAQ
How does the free trial work?
Every paid plan starts with a free trial that includes every feature in that plan. A card is required, but you will not be charged until the trial ends. We will remind you before then. Cancel during the trial and you will pay nothing.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately, and Stripe prorates the remaining billing period. Manage downgrades and cancellations from Settings → Plan through the Stripe billing portal.
How many listeners can join at once?
Free and Starter support 200 concurrent listeners, Pro supports 800, and Studio supports 10,000. When a room is full, additional listeners wait and are admitted automatically as spots open. An upgrade raises the limit immediately, including during a live show. Your dashboard warns you as you approach the limit.
What happens to my work if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your branding, overlays, and sponsor creatives remain in your library. Features above your new plan stop appearing to the audience and return when you upgrade. If your library exceeds the new limit, everything remains saved, but only the plan allowance can go live.
Do you take a percentage of my sponsorship revenue?
No. HeatCheck charges a subscription and takes no share of your sponsorship revenue.
Should I pay monthly or yearly?
The features are identical. Yearly plans are billed once a year at a lower monthly equivalent. The current savings is shown in the billing toggle above.
Does my audience need an account to vote?
No. Voting is anonymous and requires no account, app, or plugin. Listeners open your public link and move the slider. Roll call and listener suggestions require a free listener account because they keep a record between shows.
Which platforms does it work with?
HeatCheck runs on its own page alongside your existing setup. Use it with YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Streamyard, podcast recordings, or in-person events. Pro and Studio can also add the meter, roll call, and polls to OBS, Streamlabs, or Streamyard.
Can I preview overlays and sponsor ads?
Yes. Starter includes one overlay and one sponsor creative to build and preview. Pro and Studio let you publish them, subject to each plan's limits.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free does not expire and requires no card. It includes a public page, the live interest meter, polls, scheduled shows, and show notes for up to 200 concurrent listeners, with unlimited shows and seven days of analytics history.
