Your brand

Upload a logo, choose interface and gauge colors, and control which listener, host, and overlay surfaces use them.

Where branding applies

Branding is switched on per surface, so you can brand what your audience sees without repainting your own working screen.

SettingsCustom Branding

Public voting page

Applies your logo and colors to the live page your audience uses.

My host dashboard

Applies your accent and gauge ramp to the live gauge panel only. Segments, notes, polls, roll call, and suggestions keep their HeatCheck colors.

Stream overlays

Set per overlay

Not a switch here — each overlay chooses HeatCheck or Your brand in its own settings, because an overlay sits on top of your video and may need to fight a different background than your page does. Manage that choice in Settings → Stream overlays.

Switching a surface off never loses your design

Your colors are kept either way — turning a surface off just shows the HeatCheck default there.

Accent and gauge colors

Accent color

The single color that carries your identity through the interface — buttons, links, highlights, and active states. Pick a preset or use the custom color control. Changes save automatically after a short delay.

Gauge colors

The gauge’s arc is a gradient that runs cold to hot, and you can choose a preset or set custom Start and End colors. HeatCheck derives the two intermediate stops so the complete ramp remains smooth.

Test the gauge ramp at a low score, not a high one

A ramp designed by looking at a 9.5 often has an indistinguishable bottom half. Drag your own slider down to 2 and check the arc still reads as “cold” rather than as “broken”.

Getting it right

Check both light and dark

Your audience picks their own mode. An accent that sings on dark can vanish on light — look at both before you settle.

Overlays are a separate decision

An accent that works on your page may disappear against your actual video. That is exactly why overlays choose their theme independently: brand your page, then judge each overlay against the footage it will sit on.

Contrast beats fidelity

HeatCheck does not currently enforce a contrast floor for a custom accent. If the exact brand color makes links, buttons, or focus states hard to see, choose a darker or lighter nearby value and test both modes again.
